Monika Müller (pedagogue)

Monika Müller (* 1947 ) is a German educator, therapist and supervisor .

In various roles, Monika Müller has contributed significantly to the expansion of the structures of hospice and palliative work in Germany. a. involved in the creation of the training standards customary in Germany for the various professions in the field of palliative care ( palliative medicine , palliative care ) as well as the volunteers in this field.

Life

After studying philosophy, pedagogy and literature ( MA ), she acquired additional qualifications as a therapist for integrative, gestalt-oriented procedures and as a supervisor in the Pastoral and Social Field (Univ. Of Jerusalem).

Initially, she worked as a department head at the Troisdorf Adult Education Center. From 1983 to 1992 she headed the family education center in Bonn and at the same time the advice center for women in conflict situations ( In Via ). From 1992 to 2012 she was the head of the contact point in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia for palliative medicine, hospice work and family support (ALPHA Rhineland). On September 7, 2001 she received the Federal Cross of Merit on ribbon for special commitment in the hospice movement.

Monika Müller is married, has two daughters and lives in Rheinbach .
