Monika Schulz-Höpfner

Monika Schulz-Höpfner (born March 13, 1955 in Großschönau ) is a German politician ( CDU ). From 1994 to 2014 she was a member of the Brandenburg state parliament .

Life and work

Monika Schulz-Höpfner moved to Guben with her parents as a child . After completing her apprenticeship as a tailor-made woman, she earned her master's degree here in 1983. In 1989 she became a teacher in this profession .

She is Protestant and has three children. She has lived in Atterwasch since 1982 .

Political party

Monika Schulz-Höpfner has been a member of the CDU since 1985. From 2006 to 2010 she was district chairwoman of the CDU Spree-Neisse. Since January 2010 she has been the deputy district chairwoman on the board of the CDU Spree-Neisse.

From 1998 to 2011 she was state chairwoman of the Frauen-Union (FU) Brandenburg .

From 1990 to 1993 Monika Schulz-Höpfner was mayor of the communities Atterwasch and Kerkwitz . In 1993 she became head of the office and deputy director of the office in Schenkendöbern.

Monika Schulz-Höpfner has been a member of the Spree-Neisse district council since 1998.

From 1994 to 2014 she was a member of the Brandenburg State Parliament . It always entered parliament via the state list of the CDU Brandenburg . After the state elections in Brandenburg in 2014 , she left the state parliament.

In the Brandenburg State Parliament she was a member of the Committee for Labor, Social Affairs, Women and Family and a deputy member of the Committee for Education, Youth and Sport.

Monika Schulz-Höpfner was the political spokesperson for family, women and senior citizens policy of the CDU parliamentary group in the Brandenburg state parliament.
