Monika Szczęsna (born December 20, 1987 in Sarnów ) is a Polish athlete who has specialized in the 400-meter run and is particularly successful with the Polish 4-by-400-meter relay.

Athletic career

At the beginning of her career as a track and field athlete, Monika Szczęsna specialized in the 100- and 200-meter run, but could not record any notable successes there. In 2013 she switched to the longest sprint route and was able to distinguish herself there on a national level. At the Polish championships in 2013 she won the silver medal with her club, as in 2014. In 2015 she won the bronze medal as part of the Polish relay for the European Indoor Championships . In the hall she was Polish champion with the 4 x 200 meter relay. In the summer she won the bronze medal at the national championships and won with the students at the Summer Universiade in Gwangju, South Korea .
