Monique Gabrielle (* 30 July 1963 as Katherine Gonzalez in Kansas City , Missouri ) also known as Lucy Burnett , Luana Chass or Monique Gabriella is American model and actress .

Life

Childhood and youth

Monique Gabrielle was born in Kansas City as a descendant of European immigrants, but lived in Denver from the age of three to eighteen . She played her first role at the age of five in a church play in which she played an angel. She started modeling during her high school days and won the Miss America Legion title in 1979 at the age of 17. After graduating from high school, she moved to California in 1980 , where she was recruited by a modeling agency two months later and sent to Japan for her first professional shoots.

Model and actress

In 1982 she was named Pet of the Month December by Penthouse magazine . This was followed mostly by smaller roles in some successful films. Through the famous dream sequence in the film Bachelor Party, in which she embodied the erotic fantasy of one of the male protagonists, she was initially often used in the role of Fantasy Girl , the girl who only exists in the imagination. As a result, she did not succeed in establishing herself in commercially successful productions, which was partly due to her pathological anxiety. To do this, she specialized in roles in B-movies , barbarian films, erotic films and video productions. In 1987 she played the title role in Emmanuelle 5 under the direction of Walerian Borowczyk - who later said little enthusiasm for Gabrielle . This film temporarily increased her popularity. As a result of her newfound popularity, it became public that she had starred in the 1982 porn film Bad Girls IV under the name Luana Chass . However, she did not play a pornographic role in it.

Entrepreneur

In the 1990s she withdrew more and more from the film and model business and founded her own company called Purrfect Productions , which sells erotic films and literature. Together with Julie Strain and other (former) erotic stars, she founded the Sex Symbols Dynasty , an association that initially wanted to specialize in bringing the public closer to the fact that so-called sex symbols should not be viewed as goods but as personalities. After a published book and a few articles, however, this idea failed and went into their Purrfect Productions Versand, which increasingly expanded its program to include pornography since the late 1990s .

Later career

Since the turn of the century, more and more entries have appeared in their blogs that are devoted to their health problems, which are usually unspecified, including weight problems. Meanwhile she also plays in cheap pornographic video productions like The Naughty Housewife or Barely Legal and has had an extreme breast augmentation performed. In these films she often embodies the role of Valentina Angel who devotes herself to numerous, sometimes unusual, erotic games. She has been married to porn producer Tony Angove since 2003 and lives in Florida .
