Evil Toons - Fleet Teens in the Haunted House is a US-based animation - horror comedy from the year 1992 by Fred Olen Ray .

action

A group of four female teenagers work as cleaners in an old house to make it nice for the new owner. During the first night since their arrival, a strange man appears in the house and delivers an old book. The girls curiously examine the book and come across a drawing of a demon. This will trigger a curse and bring the evil creature to life.

In the course of the film, the demon appears as a living cartoon who sexually assaults the girls. Then the girls are under his control. One after the other, the residents are killed. Only the girl Megan and Gideon Fisk, the owner of the book, survive. They decide to burn the book to destroy the demon. When they succeed, everyone who was killed will be brought back to life. The film ends with Gideon leaving the group and the neighbor Mr. Hinchlow appearing in front of the old house. To the horror of the girls, he delivered a television set that, according to him, was excellent for watching cartoons.

background

The cast includes some porn and adult film actors . The actor Robert Quarry lends the voice of the evil demon in the original version. Director Fred Olen Ray also has two speaking roles.

criticism

“Four students free a monster locked in a book, which causes all sorts of mischief, before it is rendered harmless again by the shyest of women and a magician. Failed attempt to combine animation and real film, the story of which is told incoherently and in the end is just ridiculous. "

"Only the inventor is ridden by the devil."

Cinema writes that David Carradine had reached the lowest point of his acting career with this film . However, the idea of depicting the demons as a cartoon is praised .
