Monique Rabin

Monique Rabin (born July 2, 1954 in Laval ) is a French politician . She has been a member of the National Assembly since 2012 .

Rabin graduated with a DEUG in ancient literature and a master's in public law . She got into politics through Edmond Hervé , whose parliamentary assistant she was for 13 years. In 1998 she herself joined the Parti socialiste , which also included Hervé. After a successful candidacy in 2001, she was elected mayor of the municipality of Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu in 2008. In addition to two unsuccessful candidacies in the parliamentary elections in 2002 and 2007, she was able to enter the regional council of the Pays de la Loire region in 2004 . In 2010 she was elected second vice president of the board. In the parliamentary elections in 2012 she ran in the ninth constituency of the Loire-Atlantique department and was able to prevail against Philippe Boënnec , where she failed in 2007.
