The wasteland is about two kilometers west of Leeder in the Wiesbach valley .

Moosmühle is first mentioned in 1562 as Müli bey Leder .

Until 1975 there was a large grinding mill in Moosmühle . After it was demolished, only a few outbuildings have been preserved.
