Morón is a city in Argentina in the municipality of the same name, Morón . The city is located in the province of Buenos Aires and has 92,725 inhabitants (2001).
Morón can be reached via the Avenida Rivadavia , the Ruta Nacional 7 and the TBA - Ferrocarril Domingo Faustino Sarmiento (FCDFS) . Morón Airport is located in Morón .
In 1891 Gregorio de Laferrère was elected the first mayor of Morón. The city has been the bishopric of the diocese of Morón since 1957, with the cathedral of Morón . In 1960 the private University of Morón (Universidad de Morón UM) was founded.
