Moreno Soeprapto (born November 14, 1982 in Jakarta ) is a former Indonesian racing driver . He is the younger brother of the racing driver Ananda Mikola .

Career

Soeprapto began his motorsport career in formula racing in 2004 in the Asian Formula 3 championship . He took part in a race that year. In the following season Soeprapto was ninth in the Asian Formula 3 and overall winner of the promotion classification. In 2006 he stayed in the Asian Formula 3 championship. He had a serious accident while racing at the Sentul International Circuit . Soeprapto started James Winslow and picked it up. When he hit the barrier, the fuel hoses on his car were destroyed and the fuel ran out. Winslow helped Soeprapto free himself from the car, which later went up in flames, and saved his life. At the end of the season Soeprapto was fifth in the championship with five podium finishes. He also took part in two races of the Asian Formula Renault V6.

In the following winter of 2006/2007 Soeprapto made his debut in the A1 Grand Prix . He replaced his brother Ananda Mikola for the season finale. Soeprapto had previously taken part in rookie training for the Indonesian team several times . Soeprapto then completed his third season in the Asian Formula 3. He won three races and improved to third place in the drivers' standings. He also started four races in the Australian Formula 3 Championship . In 2008 Soeprapto took part in two races in the Speedcar Series .

Soeprapto has not participated in any racing series since 2009.
