The A1 Team Indonesia ( English stylization: A1Team.Indonesia ) was the Indonesian national team in the A1GP series.
history
The founder of A1 Team Indonesia is not known, most recently Bagoes Hermanto Seatholder; The British team CMS Operations acted as racing team up to and including Zhuhai 2007 and then the British team Performance Racing .
In the first season the team was below average. It was able to celebrate its first point win with an eighth place in the main race at the EuroSpeedway Lausitz by regular driver Ananda Mikola . This was followed by three more points with a ninth place in the sprint race in Estoril , a sixth place in the sprint race in Dubai and a fifth place in the sprint race in Shanghai . The team did not take part on the fourth race weekend in Eastern Creek because Ananda Mikola preferred a race in the Asian Formula 3 championship due to its championship chances and a replacement driver could not be found. The team finished the season in 18th place with 16 points.
In the following season , the team could no longer build on these results, the only point was already achieved on the opening weekend in Zandvoort with a tenth place in the main race, again by Mikola. It ended the season in 21st place overall.
In the third season , the team remained true to its role. The only point could be recorded in the main race at Brands Hatch with Satrio Hermanto at the wheel, it ended the season again in 21st overall position.
In the fourth season the team showed a slight improvement. Two points results in the main races in Kyalami and Portimão , each with Zahir Ali at the wheel, resulted in 20th place overall with three points.
A1 Team Indonesia participated in 38 race weekends of the A1GP series.
driver
A1 Team Indonesia fielded four different drivers on race weekends, all of whom also took part in the races themselves.
