The A1 Team Singapore ( English stylization: A1Team.Singapore ) was the Singapore national team in the A1GP series.

history

The founder of A1 Team Singapore is unknown; the British team West Surrey Racing acted as racing team .

The team joined the series in the second season and was among the backbenchers; the only point result is an eighth place in the main race in Beijing by Christian Murchison . From the race weekend in Sepang , the team was led by A1GP officials in order to prevent an impending financial loss. It did not take part in the race weekend in Sentul because regular driver Murchison was unable to attend due to a back injury and a replacement driver could not be found. An injury to the shoulder, which Murchison sustained in the main race in Durban , ultimately resulted in the non-participation in the last three race weekends. The team finished the season in 20th place overall with three points.

In the third season it did not take place again.

A1 Team Singapore took part in seven A1GP series racing weekends.
