The A1 Team Czech Republic ( English stylization: A1Team.Czech Republic ) was the Czech national team in the A1GP series.
history
The A1 Team Czech Republic was founded by Antonín Charouz , whose racing team Charouz Racing System equipped the team from the start.
In the first season the team was mediocre. After scoring its first points at the third race weekend in Estoril with fifth place in the sprint race by regular driver Tomáš Enge , the first podium followed with third place in the main race in Sepang . The team was able to achieve another third place in the sprint race in Dubai . The highlight of the season was the victory in the main race of the final weekend in Shanghai . It ended the season in twelfth place with 56 points.
In the following season it was unchanged. The team achieved the only podium of the season with second place in the main race in Brno after finishing the sprint race in fifth place. Another four points, including a fifth place in the main race in Eastern Creek , finally secured him again twelfth overall place with 27 points.
In the third season, the team drifted into the back of the field. After a tenth place in the main race in Zandvoort by Erik Janiš, it was only able to achieve two more points, both at the race weekend in Taupo with Tomáš Enge at the wheel, with fifth place in the sprint race being the best result of the season. The team finished the same in 19th place overall with ten points.
In the following season , it was no longer at the start.
The A1 Team Czech Republic took part in 32 race weekends of the A1GP series.
