Moritz II. Dietrichstein-Proskau-Leslie (* July 4, 1801 , † October 15, 1852 ) was an Austrian ambassador .

Life

Moritz II. Dietrichstein-Proskau-Leslie was the son of Moritz I. Josef Johann Dietrichstein zu Nikolsburg, Count of Proskau and Leslie (* 1775, † 1864), court official. In 1821 he was attaché in Naples . In 1825 he was legation secretary in Paris . In 1827 he was first class embassy secretary in London . In 1833 he was legation councilor and chargé d' affaires in Kassel and Brussels. In 1837 he was appointed envoy in Karlsruhe and Darmstadt . In 1839 he was ambassador to Brussels . From August 5, 1843 to August 11, 1848, he was Ambassador to the Court of St James’s .
