Moritz Mössinger
Moritz Mössinger (* in Stuttgart ) is a German cameraman .
life and work
Mössinger studied Audiovisual Media (BA) at the Media University and Cinematography (BA) at the Screen Academy in Edinburgh (Scotland). During his studies he also worked in Germany and Great Britain as a camera assistant and lighting technician in feature films and advertising. After returning to Germany, he moved to Berlin, where he worked as a freelance cameraman and camera assistant. At the end of his training and in order to be able to fully focus on working as a cameraman, Mössinger completed his Master of Arts in image design / camera at the Hamburg Media School from 2014 to 2016 . Since 2015 he has been working exclusively as a picture-creating cameraman in advertising and feature films with current work for Astra (beer) , Werder Bremen , and the Tatort (TV series) .
His short films Samira (director: Charlotte Rolfes) and Trade Queen (director: David Wagner) have won awards at several film festivals. His graduation film at the Hamburg Media School, Aloha (director: Charlotte Rolfes), had its festival premiere at the Hof International Film Festival 2017.
Mössinger is a scholarship holder of the Claussen Simon Foundation and lives in Hamburg .
