The Moroka River is a river in eastern Gippsland in the Australian state of Victoria .

It rises below Picture Point in the Alpine National Park at an altitude of 1580 m, flows in a large S-curve to the northeast and flows into the Wonnangatta River after 48 kilometers .

Tributaries

At its easternmost point, the Moroka River takes on the Little River coming from the east . Playboy Creek joins it from the south and a few kilometers before it flows into the Wonnangatta River, Carey Creek reaches it from the north, which rises at 'Mount Howitt'.

The Moroka River and its tributaries run through the largely unpopulated area of ​​the Alpine National Park .
