Morrastel
Morrastell , or Morastel , is used in several countries as a synonym for different grape varieties :
- In southern France (see viticulture in France ) it is used as a name for the Morrastel Bouschet , a new breed from Graciano and Petit Bouschet . In other parts of France it is used to refer to the Spanish grape variety Graciano.
- In Spain (see Viticulture in Spain ) the synonym means the grape variety Monastrell and in Portugal (see Viticulture in Portugal ) Morrastel is used synonymously for Tinta Miúda . There are speculations that Tinta Miúda could be identical to Graciano.
