The BSV 90 Brand-Erbisdorf was a German football club from Brand-Erbisdorf in what is now the Central Saxony district , which existed from 1951 to 1991. The association acted as a short-term successor to BSG Motor Brand-Langenau . Home was the stadium of the unit , which offered 6,000 spectators.

society

The BSV Brand-Erbisdorf was created in 1951 in the district of Langenau (Brand-Erbisdorf) under the name BSG Motor Brand-Langenau . The company sports association became a founding member of the third-class district league Karl-Marx-Stadt as early as 1952 . Brand-Langenau was consistently at the top of the table in the district league. In 1957, after Wismut Plauen and activist Karl Marx Zwickau, a third rank was enough for promotion to the 2nd GDR League , which had previously been increased from two to five seasons.

Motor Brand-Langenau held the 2nd GDR league until it was dissolved in the 1962/63 season, although the Saxons, analogous to the league rivals Chemie Schwarzheide or Einheit Elsterberg, had no realistic chance in the fight for promotion to the GDR league. In 1964 Brand-Langenau was again downgraded to the Karl-Marx-Städter regional league area, which was held with brief interruptions until 1981. The BSG won its season several times, but failed regularly in the promotion games to the GDR league .

After the fall of the Berlin Wall, the association was renamed BSV 90 Brand-Erbisdorf . In 1991, the BSV is after merging with Narva Brand-Erbisdorf and tractor Brand-Erbisdorf in 91 Brand-Erbisdorf SSV risen. The football department of this club became independent again in 2012 under the name FSV Motor Brand-Erbisdorf .
