Mount Bakker is an 1813 m high and isolated mountain with a snowy northern flank in the East Antarctic Mac Robertson Land . It rises 10.5 km south-southeast of Mount Starlight in the Prince Charles Mountains .
The mountain was mapped using surveys and aerial photographs taken between 1955 and 1965 as part of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions . The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia (ANCA) named the mountain after Frederick CR Bakker, radio traffic supervisor at Davis Station in 1964.
