Mount Broome is a 1,500  m high mountain near the Lassiter Coast in Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . In the Werner Mountains, it rises from the northern section of a mountain ridge between the Douglas Glacier and the Bryan Glacier .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Howard W. Broome Jr., an electrician at the Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station in Antarctic winter 1967.
