Mount Dolence is a 1950 m high mountain in the Enterprise Hills in West Antarctica . The very pointed, bare rock summit is in the northwest of the Enterprise Hills, to the west is the head of the Union Glacier , which separates it from the Edson Hills . In the south is Linder Peak , in the north the steep slope Rhodes Bluff .
The summit was named by a University of Minnesota expedition to the Ellsworth Mountains in the summer of 1962/63 after Jerry D. Dolence, a geologist and participant in the expedition.
