Mount Ekblaw is a 1,235 m high mountain in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It rises 5 km east of Mount Van Valkenburg in the eastern part of the Clark Mountains belonging to the Ford Ranges .
He was discovered while flying over the West Base during the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939-1941). The mountain is named after the American geographer Walter Elmer Ekblaw (1882–1949) from Clark University , participant in the Crocker Land Expedition (1913–1917) to explore the alleged Crocker Land in the Arctic .
