Mount Emison is a 2050 m high and striking mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Deep Freeze Range it rises on the west flank of the Campbell Glacier immediately west of the confluence of the Bates Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using its own measurements and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1955 to 1963. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after William B. Emison, a biologist at McMurdo Station in two Antarctic summer campaigns between 1964 and 1966.
