Mount Hall is a 1,800 m high mountain in East Antarctica Victoria Land . In the Asgard Range of the Transantarctic Mountains, it rises 2.6 km southwest of Mount Weyant in the vicinity of Harris Peak and Ball Peak .
The New Zealand Geographic Board named him in 1998 after the New Zealand mountaineer Rob Hall (1961-1996), who worked for the New Zealand Antarctic Research Program in the 1990s and died on May 10, 1996 in the disaster on Mount Everest .
