Mount Liavaag is a 1,820 m high mountain in the West Antarctic Ellsworth Land . It rises between Mount Holmboe and the Holth Peaks near the northern end of the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains .
The American polar explorer Lincoln Ellsworth discovered him during his transantarctic flight on November 23, 1935. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him after Lauritz Ludvig Martin Liavåg (1892 – unknown), first mate on the ship Wyatt Earp for Ellsworth's Antarctic expedition from 1935 to 1935 1936 and participant in two previous Antarctic expeditions.
