Mount Marzolf is a 1734 m high, elongated and partly ice-free mountain in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Usarp Mountains, it rises 3 km west of Mount Gillmor at the head of the Svendsen Glacier .
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) mapped it on the basis of its own measurements and aerial photographs by the United States Navy from 1960 to 1965. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1970 after the American biologist John Edward Marzolf (* 1938), who worked from 1967 to 1968 as part of the United States Antarctic Research Program at McMurdo Station .
