The Mount Parry is a 2,520 m (according to other sources 2522 m ) high mountain on Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago off the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula . In the Stribog Mountains it rises east of Minot Point and is the highest point on the island.
The British polar explorer Henry Foster mapped and named him in 1829 during his Antarctic voyage with the HMS Chanticleer from 1827 to 1831 . It is named after the British polar explorer William Edward Parry (1790–1855). The first ascent on October 30, 1984 was made by participants of the British Joint Services Expedition (1984–1985).
