Mount Rath

Mount Rath is a 1300  m mountain on the Lassiter coast of the Palmerland on the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises 10 km north-northeast of Mount Owen in the Hutton Mountains .

The United States Geological Survey mapped it based on its own surveys and aerial photographs of the United States Navy from 1961 to 1967. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1968 after Arthur Edward Rath (* 1939), electrical engineer on the Amundsen-Scott -South Pole Station in 1964.
