Mount Ronca is a mountain over 2200 m high in the Australian Antarctic Territory . In the Geologists Range, it towers over the southern end of the Quest Cliffs .
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using tellurometer surveys and aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy between 1960 and 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1966 after the Italian- born US geologist Luciano Bruno Ronca ( * 1935), who worked at McMurdo Station from 1961 to 1962 as part of the United States Antarctic Research Program .
