Marliac ( Occitan : Marlhac ) is a French commune with 145 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). Esperce belongs to the arrondissement of Muret and the canton of Auterive ( canton of Cintegabelle until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Marliacois (es) .

geography

Marliac is located about 35 kilometers south-southeast of Toulouse on the edge of the Lauragais . Marliac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Gaillac-Toulza in the north and west, Canté in the east and northeast, Brie in the southeast, Justiniac in the south and southeast, Durfort in the south and southwest and Villeneuve-du-Latou in the southwest.
