Marquefave is a French commune with 967 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). Marquefave belongs to the Arrondissement of Muret and the Canton of Auterive (until 2015 Carbonne ). The inhabitants are called marquefavais .
geography
Marquefave is about 14 kilometers south-southwest of Muret on the Garonne . Marquefave is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Capens in the north, Montaut in the northeast, Montgazin in the east, Lacaugne in the south and Carbonne in the south and west.
