Grépiac ( Occitan : Grepiac ) is a southern French municipality with 982 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (previously Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Muret and the canton of Auterive . The inhabitants are called Grépiacois .

location

Grépiac is located about 22 kilometers south of Toulouse and about eleven kilometers southeast of Muret on the Ariège river , which borders the municipality in the west. Grépiac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Venerque in the north and north-east, Issus in the east and north-east, Labruyère-Dorsa in the east, Auterive in the south and south-east, Miremont in the south-west and Vernet in the west and north-west.
