Montberaud belongs to the arrondissement of Muret and the canton of Cazères . The inhabitants are called Montberaudois .

Montberaud is located about 37 kilometers south-southwest of Muret am Volp . Montberaud is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Christaud in the north, Montesquieu-Volvestre in the east and northeast, Gouzens in the east, Lahitère in the southeast, Sainte-Croix-Volvestre in the south and southwest and Le Plan in the west.
