Beaumont-sur-Lèze ( Occitan : Bèumont de Lesat ) is a southern French municipality with 1,557 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (previously Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Muret and the canton of Auterive . The inhabitants are called Beaumontais .
location
Beaumont-sur-Lèze is located about 28 kilometers south-southeast of Toulouse and about eight kilometers south of Muret on the Lèze River . Beaumont-sur-Lèze is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Eaunes in the north, Lagardelle-sur-Lèze in the north-east, Miremont in the east, Auribail in the south and south-east, Montaut in the south and south-west, Mauzac and Le Fauga in the west and Muret in the north-west.
