Saiguède ( Occitan Següeda ) is a French commune with 790 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). Saiguède belongs to the Arrondissement Muret and the canton Plaisance-du-Touch (until 2015 Saint-Lys ). The inhabitants are called Saiguediens .
geography
Saiguède is located in the historic province of Savès , about 30 kilometers west-southwest of Toulouse and about 20 kilometers west-northwest of Muret . Saiguède is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bonrepos-sur-Aussonnelle in the north, Fontenilles in the northeast, Saint-Lys in the east and southeast, Sainte-Foy-de-Peyrolières in the south and Saint-Thomas in the west.
