Puydaniel ( Occitan : Puègdanièl ) is a southern French municipality with 518 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (previously Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Muret and the canton of Auterive . The inhabitants are called Puydaniélains .

location

Puydaniel is located about 30 kilometers south of Toulouse and about 16 kilometers southeast of Muret . Puydaniel is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lagrâce-Dieu in the north and west, Auterive in the east and northeast, Mauressac in the south and east and Esperce in the south and southwest. The river Mouillonne runs along the eastern border of the municipality .
