Longages is a French commune with 3,082 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region . Longages belongs to the arrondissement of Muret and the canton of Auterive (until 2015: canton of Carbonne ). The inhabitants are called Longagiens .
geography
Longages is located about 13 kilometers south-southwest of Muret on the Louge , a tributary of the Garonne . Longages is surrounded by the neighboring communities Lavernose-Lacasse in the north and north-east, Noé in the east, Capens in the south-east, Carbonne in the south, Peyssies in the south-west, Bois-de-la-Pierre in the west and south-west and Bérat in the west and north-west.
