It belongs to the canton of Cazères (until 2015 Le Fousseret ). The inhabitants are called Lulhacois or Lussannais .

Lussan-Adeilhac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Polastron in the north, Casties-Labrande and Castelnau-Picampeau in the northeast, Fustignac in the east, Montégut-Bourjac in the east and southeast, Francon in the southeast, Samouillan in the south, Benque in the southwest, Peyrissas in the west as well Fabas in the northwest.
