Latrape ( Occitan : La Trapa ) is a French commune with 364 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). Latrape belongs to the Arrondissement Muret and the canton Auterive (until 2015 Rieux-Volvestre ). The inhabitants are called Trapéens or Trappistes .
geography
Latrape is about 27 kilometers south-southwest of Muret . Latrape is surrounded by the neighboring communities Lacaugne in the north, Lézat-sur-Lèze in the north-east, Castagnac in the east, Canens in the south-east, Bax in the south, Mailholas and Rieux-Volvestre in the west and Carbonne in the north-west.
