Lamasquère ( Occitan : La Masquèra ) is a French commune with 1,462 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region . Lamasquère belongs to the arrondissement of Muret and the canton of Muret (until 2015: canton of Saint-Lys ). The inhabitants are called Lamasquèrois .

geography

Lamasquère is located in the historic province of Savès , about 23 kilometers southwest of Toulouse and about six kilometers west-northwest of Muret . The touch limits the community in the west. Lamasquère is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Seysses in the north and northeast, Muret in the south and east, Saint-Clar-de-Rivière in the west and south-west and Saint-Lys in the north-west.
