Cintegabelle ( Occitan : Senta Gabèla ) is a French commune with 2,904 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region . Cintegabelle belongs to the Arrondissement of Muret and the canton of Auterive (until 2015. Canton of Cintegabelle ). The inhabitants are called Cintegabellois (es) .
geography
Cintegabelle is located about 33 kilometers south-southwest of Toulouse in the Lauragais on the Ariège river , into which the Hers-Vif flows here. Cintegabelle is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mauvaisin in the north, Aignes in the east and northeast, Calmont in the southeast, Saverdun in the south, Canté in the south and southwest, Labatut , Lissac , Saint-Quirc and Gaillac-Toulza in the southwest, Caujac in the west and Auterive in the Northwest.
The former route nationale 20 (today's D820) runs through the municipality .
