Mauvaisin ( Occitan : Malvesin ) is in the southwest of France located community with 233 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Haute-Garonne in the region Occitania (before 2016: Midi-Pyrenees ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Toulouse and is part of the canton of Escalquens (until 2015: canton of Nailloux ). The inhabitants are called Mauvaisinois .

geography

Mauvaisin is located about 29 kilometers south-southeast of Toulouse in the Lauragais landscape . Mauvaisin is surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Auragne in the north and northwest, Saint-Léon in the north and northeast, Aignes in the east and southeast, Cintegabelle in the south and Auterive in the west.
