Larra ( Occitan : Larran ) is a French commune with 1,891 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Toulouse and the Canton of Léguevin (until 2015: Canton Grenade ). The inhabitants are called Larrassiens .
geography
Larra is located about 22 kilometers northwest of Toulouse on the Save , which also forms the eastern municipal boundary. Larra is surrounded by the neighboring communities Grenade in the north and northeast, Merville in the east, Montaigut-sur-Save in the southeast, Saint-Paul-sur-Save and Bretx in the south, Thil in the southwest and Launac in the west.
