geography

Cornebarrieu is a banlieue in northeast Toulouse and is located on the Aussonnelle river . Cornebarrieu is surrounded by the neighboring communities Aussonne in the north, Beauzelle in the northeast, Blagnac in the east, Colomiers in the south, Pibrac in the west and southwest and Mondonville in the west and northwest.

Toulouse-Blagnac airport protrudes into the southeastern municipality.
