Maurens ( identical in Occitan ) is a French commune with 206 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Toulouse and the canton of Revel . The inhabitants are called the Maurenois .

Maurens is located in the Lauragais countryside , about 31 kilometers east-south-east of Toulouse . Maurens is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cambiac in the north, Falga in the northeast, Vaux in the east, Juzes in the south and Beauville in the west.
