Garac is a French commune with 154 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the arrondissement of Toulouse and the canton of Léguevin ( Cadours until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Garacois .

geography

Garac is located about 35 kilometers northwest of Toulouse in southern France. Garac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Caubiac in the north and northwest, Le Grès in the north, Thil in the northeast, Bellegarde-Sainte-Marie in the south and east and Vignaux in the west.
