Tarabel ( Occitan Tarabèl ) is a commune with 460 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French department of Haute-Garonne in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Toulouse and the Canton of Revel (until 2015: Canton Lanta ). The inhabitants are called Tarabelains .
geography
Tarabel is located about 20 kilometers east-southeast of Toulouse in the Lauragais . Tarabel is surrounded by the neighboring communities Aurin in the north, Maureville in the northeast, Caragoudes in the east and southeast, Mourvilles-Basses in the south and southeast, Labastide-Beauvoir in the south and southwest and Préserville in the west.
