Saint-Marcel-Paulel ( Occitan : Sent Marcel e Paulel ) is a French municipality with 404 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Haute-Garonne (high-Garonne) in the Région Midi-Pyrenees . The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Toulouse and the Canton of Pechbonnieu (until 2015: Canton Verfeil ). The inhabitants are called Marcellois .
geography
Saint-Marcel-Paulel is located about 15 kilometers east-northeast of Toulouse . The Girou flows along the northeastern municipal boundary. Saint-Marcel-Paulel is surrounded by the neighboring communities Bonrepos-Riquet in the north and north-east, Verfeil in the east, Saint-Pierre in the south-east, Lavalette in the south and west and Gragnague in the west and north-west.
