Saint-Rustice ( Occitan Sent Rostesi ) is a commune in the Haute-Garonne department in the Occitanie region of France . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Toulouse and the Canton of Villemur-sur-Tarn (until 2015: Canton Fronton ). The 460 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) are called Saint-Rusticiens .

geography

Saint-Rustice is located about 24 kilometers north-northwest of Toulouse on the Canal des Deux Mers . Saint-Rustice is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Pompignan in the north and Castelnau-d'Estrétefonds in the south, east and west.

The former route nationale 20 (today's D820) runs through the municipality .
