The canton of Villemur-sur-Tarn is a French constituency in the Arrondissement Arrondissement Toulouse , in the Haute-Garonne department and in the Occitanie region ; its main town is Villemur-sur-Tarn . His representative in the General Council of the Département for the years 1994 to 2015 is Jean-Marc Dumoulin ( UDI ). Since 2015 it has been Ghislaine Cabessut and Jean-Luc Raysseguier (both PS ).

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Villemur-sur-Tarn included the seven municipalities of Bondigoux , La Magdelaine-sur-Tarn , Layrac-sur-Tarn , Le Born , Mirepoix-sur-Tarn , Villematier and Villemur-sur - camouflage . Its layout corresponded to an area of 99.37 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 3139.
