The Canton Montgiscard was 2015 a French constituency in Arrondissement of Toulouse , in the Haute-Garonne and the region Midi-Pyrenees ; its main town was Montgiscard . His last representative in the General Council of the Département was Annie Maury ( PS ).
geography
The canton was in the eastern half of the Haute-Garonne department, southeast of Toulouse. In the west it bordered on the canton of Auterive , in the north-west and north on the canton of Castanet-Tolosan , in the north-east on the cantons of Lanta and Caraman , in the south-east on the canton Villefranche-de-Lauragais and in the south on the canton Nailloux . Its area was between 146 m in Escalquens and 284 m in Montbrun-Lauragais above sea level .
